BELL featured in new Wallace Foundation publication: Expanding Learning, Enriching Learning: Portraits of Five Programs

The Wallace Foundation published a collection of "Stories from the Field" to describe the work of BELL and four other programs working to expand learning time for scholars. Foundation writer Sarosh Syed visited BELL Summer and spent two days talking to scholars, teachers, and parents in San Jose, CA. He joined scholars on a field trip to the University of California, Berkeley, and wrote about an "oasis of learning" in the middle of a tough neighborhood.
