What happens when scholars spend time in the summer creating art, visiting science museums, and playing basketball, as well as honing their academic skills?

Scholars gain confidence, strengthen their communication and teamwork skills, and become more interested and engaged in learning. After all, learning isn't only academic - scholars' social and emotional development are equally important to their long-term success.
